Tubero pterygoid implantTubero pterygoid implant When talking about the placement of a tubero pterygoid implant, we mean the placement of an implant, which is inserted in the region of the upper wisdom tooth to avoid a sinus lift procedure, which is done to increase the bone mass of the maxillary sinus.

The sinus lift procedure requires a complex surgical procedure and the waiting time for a final prosthetic work on implants in that region lasts even up to a year. The placement of tubero pterygoid implants is a simple procedure, but which requires a great deal of experience and knowledge in the field of surgical anatomy and oral surgery.

A tubero pterygoid implant shortens the time for a definitive procedure on implants, thus avoiding the inconvenience of a post-surgical treatment of a sinus lift procedure and a lower success rate of the implants integrated in the sinus lift procedure.

Implantology

Oral implantology refers to surgical procedures aimed at functional rehabilitation of patients using dental implants, i.e., metal elements surgically implanted into the upper and lower jaw. Implants come in various forms and can be implanted in different positions and by different techniques. Currently, most implants are made of titanium.

Osnivač centra za implantologiju (Implant Centar Stojanović) – prim. Dr Branislav Stojanović je završio Stomatološki fakultet u Sarajevu 1980-te godine, a srednju zubotehničku školu u Prištini 1974. godine. Svoje radno iskustvo započeo je 1981. godine u Domu zdravlja Sarajevo kao stomatolog opšte stomatologije gde je radio u radnoj službi dečje stomatologije, a kasnije u službi stomatološke protetike. U domu zdravlja Sarajevo radio je sve do aprila 1992. godine.

Stomatološku ordinaciju Dr Branislav Stojanović osniva 1992. godine sa sedištem u Beogradu. Ordinacija je počela sa radom kao centar za protetiku i estetsku stomatologiju, a od 1997. godine počinje intenzivno sa oralno hirurškim i implantološkim intervencijama. Specijalizaciju iz oralne hirurgije završio je 2000-te godine na Stomatološkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu.
